My first exposure to massage therapy was due to chronic low back pain.  After seeing first hand, the benefits I had received, I decided on a career change in 1995 and graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 1997.  I have been practicing massage therapy in the Kitsilano community ever since.

I treat a wide variety of patient issues, such as headaches, whiplash, postural dysfunction, stress related ailments, repetitive strain injuries,  piriformis syndrome, plantar fasciitis, to name but a few.

My goal for my patients is to help facilitate the healing process using a number of hands on techniques, which may include, trigger point release, Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, fascial release, joint mobilizations & passive stretch. Treatments do differ from patient to patient and depend greatly on the particular ailments and needs of the individual.

I am also an advocate for preventative measures with a proactive approach thru patient education, in order to maximize the benefits of the treatment process.

Over the past decade, there has been a significant rise in the demand for massage therapy in BC.  This can be attributed to higher educational standards, research studies showing the benefits of massage therapy, and an increase in public awareness and demand for non surgical, drug-free treatment options.

I welcome you to discover how massage therapy can help you achieve your health and wellness goals.
