Beth first experienced the positive effects of massage at the age of nine when she and her mom were in a minor car accident. Her mother, being the proud daughter of a Mi’kmaw L’nu woman who practiced traditional medicine, has a tendency to follow the path of alternative medicine; making massage therapy and chiropractic services a natural choice for her young daughter after the accident.  Beth recalls feeling inspired by the notion of making a career out of helping people feel better in their bodies. This memory left a lasting imprint on Beth as she could tangibly feel the effects of positive touch slow her nervous system and witness how a caring hand on a friend’s shoulder could remind their body to release a tense posture.

Beth has always wanted to support others towards a joyful and healthy journey in life/lifestyle.  She values keeping the body moving and healthy.  Beth lives this rhythm of self-care that she encourages her clients to do through yoga practice, cycling, swimming, hiking, climbing trees, or simply running through a field with children and friends.  As a therapist, she holds space for an individual’s innate body intelligence and supports their natural ability to heal and restore balance.

Beth looks forward to sharing the power of positive touch, helping you achieve your health and wellness goals while reestablishing and maintaining this connection to innate health.  Her studies have provided her the opportunity to pull from an array of techniques including Myofascial Release, CranioSacral Therapy, Swedish Massage, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Retraining, Trigger Point Release, Counterstrain, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Joint Mobilizations.  Beth is keen to pursue continuing education in Visceral Manipulation, CranioSacral Therapy, Fascial Manipulation, Breast Care, and Osteopathic approaches to assessment and treatment.
